- The website's sections used to be titled in Japanese. Sometime during the spring of 2017, Deep-Sea Prisoner changed the section titles to English.
- Previously in the Stories section, clicking on any age-restricted game would prompt a page for age verification. Clicking "いいえ" (NO) would lead to a flash game where the user could spank a Mogeko with a paddle.
- funamusea.com went through multiple different domain names before settling on the current one. Deep-Sea Prisoner initially wanted to name the website after her handle name, Kaitei Shuujin (海底囚人), which is Japanese for "Deep-Sea Prisoner." However, website addresses do not accept Japanese characters, so she decided to make her site's domain name "funamusea" instead. [1]
