Hanten (はんてん) is one of the main characters of Obsolete Dream. She is a demon girl and Kurotsuno's best friend.
Appearance
Hanten has short gray hair and deep red eyes. She wears a green coat over a collared shirt and gray sweater. She also wears a green ribbon as a belt and a gray skirt with black boots and gray knee socks. Her horns are black and form a spiral shape. She has black bat-like wings on her back, along with a curly, pointed tail. Her signature weapon is a katana. Also, it is seen that she has a really long tongue.
In her other form, her overall appearance looks like of a psychopath. Her horns appear to be in the same color as her father's and instead of forming a swirled shape, it protrudes out like of Chishibuki's. She wears a red shirt, a black skirt and black thigh-high socks with loose boots. She keeps her bat-like wings from her normal form.
Personality
Hanten is a blood thirsty, violent, scary and alcoholic demon. For some unknown reason, she hates the sea and everything in it.

- Her name in Japanese means "Inversion / Negative Image" and is also a pun on 半纏, a winter coat that she usually wears.
- Her other "self" name is an organism with complete absence of melanin.
- Hanten seems to have another "self", who is often seen with Olivia.[1]
- Her name may be derived from the actual hanten clothing, a traditional Japanese clothing.
- In fact, Hanten wears what it seems to be a green hanten as her standard outfit.
